Police looking for credit union robbery suspect

CLACKAMAS, OR (KPTV) -

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help tracking down the man who robbed a credit union in Clackamas.

The robbery took place Thursday at about 2:40 p.m. at the OnPoint Community Credit Union on Southeast 82nd Avenue. The suspect showed a note and threatened to use a gun, but employees did not see one.

Deputies and Tri-Met police searched the area and even stopped a Tri-Met bus, but were not able to find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 20 to 35 years old, 5'5" tall, 170 to 190 pounds, with medium length curly hair, sideburns and a scruffy goatee.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
