Company keeping 250 jobs in Hillsboro

HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -

Hundreds of jobs are coming back to Oregon.

Gov. John Kitzhaber announced Thursday the company Jireh Semiconductor Inc. will be keeping 250 manufacturing jobs instead of sending the production to Asia again.

Earlier this year, Kitzhaber gave the company a $250,000 forgivable loan from the Governor's Strategic Reserve Fund.

The money helped the company retrain workers as the jobs return to Oregon.
