Portland Police dispose of suspicious device - KPTV - FOX 12

Police are investigating after a suspicious device was discovered in Northeast Portland.
Officers responded to a call of a suspicious device in a parking lot at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon on Northeast Halsey near 15th Avenue.
Officers said the device was in a shopping cart.
They evacuated the area and established a large perimeter.
Police called in the Metro Explosives Disposal Unit.
They put the device in a protected container and took it away for disposal.
As of Saturday afternoon, police said it was unknown exactly what the device was.
