WILLAPA BAY, WA (KPTV) -
A fishing boat that sank off the Washington coast killing four men has been located by investigators.
Lady Cecilia was lost at sea in March with no distress signals or mayday calls.
The Coast Guard and a maritime salvage company located the boat Sunday about 20 miles off Leadbetter Point near Willapa Bay in Washington.
A remote operating vehicle discovered it in about 460 feet of water.
Video from the machine will be closely analyzed by investigators over the next several weeks to try and help determine the cause of the sinking.
The findings will be presented at a future Formal Board of Investigators public hearing in Astoria.
The members of the crew were Dave Nichols, 42, of Warrenton; Jason Bjaranson, 38, of Warrenton; Chris Langel, 25, of Kaukauna, WI; Luke Jensen, 22, of Illwaco, WA.
