Bank robber who turned himself in going to prison

GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

A man who turned himself in to Gresham police after robbing a bank is going to prison.

Raymond Knudson was sentenced to six months in federal prison Monday with three years post-prison supervision.

Police said the robbery happened back in April at the Bank of America branch at 200 E. Powell Blvd.

While officers were still responding to the scene of the crime, Knudson walked into the Gresham Police Department and turned himself in.

Police said he handed them a McDonald's bag filled with money.
