A job and career fair is set for the World Forestry Center on Thursday.
Dozens of employers and training providers will be at the event sponsored by the Tualatin Valley Employer Council and WorkSource Oregon Employment Department.
Last year, more than 500 job openings were represented at the fair.
Employers scheduled to attend this year include Columbia Sportswear, Fred Meyer, Comcast Cable, Reser's Fine Foods and Xerox Business Services.
The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the center, which is next to the Washington Park Zoo off Highway 26.
Plenty of free parking will be available. TriMet busses and Max also stop at the Washington Park Transit Center.
Employment Department workers recommend those attending the Job and Career Fair should come dressed appropriately for a job interview and bring sufficient resumes.
For a complete list of the employers and training providers scheduled to attend, along with a registration form, go to the Employment Department's website.
