VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
A truck driver is accused of going too fast and creating a big mess on a pair of Vancouver highways.
It happened just after 7 a.m. on Interstate 205 near SR-14.
Troopers said Eugene Groves, 34, was driving a log truck and lost control near the eastbound onramp.
The trucks overturned and the logs spilled out onto the roadway.
Four of the logs fell off the overpass onto the westbound SR-14 ramp to northbound I-205, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Both ramps were blocked off to traffic while crews removed the truck and logs.
The driver suffered a head injury but was not transported to the hospital.
Groves is charged with negligent driving. Investigators said he caused the crash by driving too fast.
