PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A local man who was facing 57 counts of sex abuse is going to prison for 25 years.
Felix Hernandez-Mendoza pleaded no contest to the charges against him on Aug. 31.
On Thursday, he was sentenced to 25 years behind bars and he must register as a sex offender.
Child abuse detectives said the crimes happened between 2009 and 2010.
They said Hernandez-Mendoza knew his victims.
He was first arraigned in court back in February.
