PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
TriMet's Robertson Tunnel and the Washington Park MAX station are about to be transported to the nation's capital through the magic of TV.
Both sites will be featured on the TNT show Leverage on Sunday.
The show is shot and set in Portland.
For the summer finale episode, the setting is Washington D.C. and the local landmarks were made up to look like the Metro subway system in Washington D.C.
A MAX train will also be altered in post-production to look like a moving Washington D.C. subway train.
Because MAX trains run through the Robertson Tunnel 19 hours or more a day, the crew had to work during the overnight hours when no trains were scheduled.
The filming took place over 30 hours from June 21 to June 23.
Electronic Entertainment reimbursed TriMet for the use of the facilities as well as the employees involved in the planning and facilitation of the filming.
