PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Crews will be tearing down a retaining wall on Southwest Powell Boulevard as part of the Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Transit Project.

One lane will be closed in each direction starting Monday night.

The closures begin at 10 p.m. Monday with all lanes reopening by 6 a.m. the following morning.

Construction will go on for six nights.

During the work, one lane will remain open in both directions between 10th and 22nd avenues.

The pedestrian crossing at 13th Avenue will be closed and so will some bus stops in the area.
