Reward offered for cow killings

Posted: Updated:
ASHLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Three cows and two calves were killed near Ashland, and now Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife troopers are asking for help in the investigation.

Four of the animals were found within 300 feet of each other, in a meadow near the intersection of Dead Indian Memorial Road and Keno Access Road. They died around Labor Day weekend and appeared to have been shot, according to investigators.

A number of organizations have joined together to offer a $6,500 reward in the case.
