CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -
Deputies didn't have to look far to find a drunken driving suspect over the weekend.
He apparently crashed his Saab in the parking lot of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office on Southeast Sunnybrook Boulevard in Clackamas late Saturday afternoon.
Deputies had already received a report of a driver who may have fallen asleep at the wheel driving down Sunnybrook Boulevard. The driver then pulled into the parking lot, crashing into some landscaping in the middle of the lot.
Inside the 1999 Saab, deputies found 33-year-old David LaFountain, of Portland. He was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Deputies said a breath sample from LaFountain showed he had a blood alcohol content of .10.
LaFountain was booked into the Clackamas County Jail. He's charged with DUII and driving while suspended.
