Robber hits up Safeway pharmacy in SW Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A robber hit up a Safeway pharmacy in southwest Portland and got away with prescription narcotics.

It happened at 8:42 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the Safeway on Southwest Jefferson Street.

Portland police say the suspect walked up to the pharmacy counter, presented a note, then got away with an undisclosed amount of prescription narcotics.

Officers searched the area for the robber but were unsuccessful in finding him.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s wearing a maroon stocking cap and a T-shirt with a duck on the front.
