PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
You could be several thousand dollars richer if you can help Portland Police and Crime Stoppers nab a man who robbed a pawn shop earlier this month.
The robbery happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 at All That Glitters on North Lombard Street.
Armed with a handgun, the robber walked into the store and demanded cash, police said.
He was last seen running northbound on North Villard Avenue into a neighborhood.
Police officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but did not find anyone matching the suspect's description.
The robber is described as a white man in his 20's, 6'1" tall and 180 pounds.
Police said at the time of the robbery he was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black sunglasses, gray and white athletic shoes.
He also had some kind of black covering over his face.
All That Glitters is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the suspect.
This reward is separate and independent from a $1,000 reward Crime Stoppers of Oregon is also offering in this case.
Anyone with information is urged to leave a Crime Stoppers tip by calling (503) 823-HELP (4357).
