Officers first responded to reports of an armed pedestrian robbery at 10:24 p.m. Sunday at Northeast 36th and Grand Place in the Grant Park neighborhood.

The victim said a group of three teens took his backpack. He said one of them had a gun.

Some of the victim's stolen property was found by officers at Northeast 37th and Knott Street.

At 11:30 p.m., police responded to a similar situation at Southeast 20th and Oak Street in the East Buckman neighborhood.

A woman said the suspects surrounded her and one pulled out what she believed was a gun.

She gave them her phone and purse and they took off.

At 12:17 a.m., two people said they were walking near Northeast 33rd and Holman Street when a group approached them.

The victims said one of the suspects had a gun and they got away with an iPhone and a purse.

In each case the suspects are described as black males, between the ages of teenagers to men in their early 20s.
