PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The cab driver who crashed into two women in downtown Portland is headed to jail.
A judge sentenced Moktar Mohamed to three months behind bars and three years probation for assault, reckless driving and criminal mischief.
Back in March, Mohamed ran a red light near Southwest 10th Avenue and Morrison Street. He then hit a BMW before running into the women and crashing into a store.
As part of the sentence, his license will also be suspended for five years.
