Five local women are facing charges after Beaverton police said they got into a fight Wednesday evening.

After receiving several calls about a fight involving a weapon, officers responded at about 6:15 p.m. to the 3000 block of SW 126th Avenue.

When police arrived, they saw approximately 50 people, including children, from the neighborhood watching the altercation, detectives said.

The five women involved were identified as Erin Coulson, 28 of Beaverton, Mary Jordan, 28 of Portland, Sandy Perez, 26 of Beaverton, Monica Filippone, 30 of Portland, and Maria Perez, 22 of Tigard.

Officers determined that the fight began when Jordan, Perez, Perez and Filippone confronted Coulson at her apartment by blocking her driveway with a car, police said.

Coulson and Filippone each have a child who shares the same father and have had problems with each other in the past, detectives told FOX 12.

The fight began when the four women got out of the car and threatened to assault Coulson, police said.

Coulson grabbed some empty bottles that were in a recycling bin near her and threw them at the car, officers said.

She then found a hammer and started hitting the car because she was scared, officers said.

All five of the women were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Coulson also faces a criminal mischief charge for the damage she caused to the car.

They were all taken to the Washington County Jail.
