PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man who pleaded guilty to public indecency outside a southwest Portland apartment complex must now register as a sex offender.
Shane Boyd was arrested in April after a woman reported seeing him inappropriately touching himself in the parking lot outside her apartment on the 1700 block of Southwest Fourth Avenue for three consecutive mornings.
He pleaded guilty on Sept. 7.
On Thursday, he was sentenced to 60 days in jail and required to pay $500 in fines and fees.
He must register as a sex offender and will serve three years probation once he's released.
He also is not allowed to return to the victim's apartment complex.
