Two local school buses involved in separate crashes

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Two local school buses were involved in separate crashes Thursday.

The first one happened in Clark County near the 18700 block of Fourth Plain Boulevard at 3:20 p.m.

Troopers said a passenger car ended up under the school bus, but nobody was hurt.

There is no word yet about any citations in that case.

Then at 4 p.m., a very minor crash happened involving a school bus in Hillsboro.

Deputies said the bus had just dropped off students and traffic was stopped in both directions at 11650 S.W. Hillsboro Highway. That's when a motorcycle came around the corner and the driver locked up his brakes.

The motorcyclist skidded and his motorcycle lightly hit the front fender of the bus.

No one was hurt and no citations were issued in the Hillsboro case.
