BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

A man accused of a hit-and-run crash in Beaverton has turned himself in to police.

Alan Huthmacher, 21, is charged with failure to perform the duties of a driver to an injured person and assault.

Police were called to the area of 9955 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. at 1:48 a.m. Sunday. Officers determined the crash stemmed from a fight in the parking lot of the Koreana Restaurant.

Investigators said two men were arguing before getting in their cars. As they drove into an adjacent parking lot, one man got out and approached the other car.

Investigators said Soongkoon Hong, 26, of Tigard, tore out a portion of the other car's front grill. That's when police said Huthmacher hit the gas and hit Hong with the front of his car.

Investigators said Hong fell onto the hood of the car, which then hit a parked car causing Hong to fall to the ground and hit his head.

He was taken to the hospital and got several stitches.

Police said Huthmacher took off from the scene.
