GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

A Gladstone woman was killed during a knife fight at a Gresham park early Sunday morning.

Police said Destiny Smith, 23, was rushed to the hospital but died from her injuries.

"I heard the most gut-curdling scream I've ever heard in my life," said Ross Carlton, who called 911 after the fight broke out. "I'm not used to seeing somebody get murdered. That was kind of scary."

A total of 10 people were involved in the fight and four others were treated for stab wounds just after 4 a.m. at Pat Pfeifer Park, 402 N.E. 172nd Ave, according to Gresham police.

Police said Henry Real, 25, of Beaverton, has life-threatening injuries. He was upgraded from critical to serious condition at the hospital Monday.

Officers said they have been unable to talk to him so far.

Investigators said they still don't know what led up to the fight. No arrests have been made.
