Estacada woman dies in single SUV crash in Tualatin

TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -

Tualatin police are investigating the cause of a single SUV crash that killed an Estacada woman early Monday morning.

Officers responded to the 8500 block of SW Tualatin Sherwood Road at about 12:18 a.m.

A 2004 Honda Element driven by Larissa Ree, 42, had hit a tree, police said.

She was pronounced dead shortly after emergency crews arrived.

Witnesses told detectives that the SUV, which was traveling eastbound, traveled into the westbound lane and struck a tree on the side of the road head-on.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
