Fox 12's Sophie Soong eats wings for charity

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Fox 12's Sophie Soong ate wing after chicken wing Thursday all for a good cause.

Soong competed against other local TV anchors to see who could win the "Battle of the Network Stars" competition.

She didn't quite take home the title, but was still happy to eat all those wings for a good cause.

The event was part of a radio telethon to support the Bald Faced Truth Foundation Thursday at Safeway on Southeast 28th and Hawthorne.

The foundation was co-founded in 2009 by Oregonian sports columnist John Canzano. It supports art, education and athletics for children in the area.
