Portland Police Bureau welcomes, promotes officers

The latest men and women in blue for Portland police were honored Thursday as a dozen police officers were officially hired while a lieutenant, six sergeants and four detectives were promoted.

The hiring and promotion ceremony for the police bureau was held Thursday at the Portland Building.
