VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
A shooting at a home in Hazel Dell left one person dead Monday morning.
A Clark County Major Crimes Team started investigating at 6:30 a.m. at Northeast 25th Avenue south of 99th Street. When deputies responded, they found the victim dead inside.
No arrests have been made and no suspects are currently in custody, but deputies do not believe there's any threat to the community.
It does not appear to be a random crime, according to investigators, and they are working on a handful of leads in the case.
Investigators are treating this case as a homicide.
The name of the victim has not been released.
