PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man who damaged ATMs and banks around Portland will spend 20 days in jail.
Bryan Wiedeman was sentenced today to 20 days behind bars, 80 hours of community service and five years probation.
Wiedeman pleaded guilty Sept. 28 to three counts of criminal mischief. He was arrested in May at a home in north Portland where police said he was squatting with four other people.
The investigation leading up to the arrest stretched for nearly two years. Police said it included acts of vandalism at the Hollywood Key Bank branch and the U.S. Bank branch in Southeast Portland on Feb. 29, 2012; as well as vandalism at the Portland Community College Cascade Campus in July 2010.
Wiedeman was also ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and any recommended treatment that comes as a result of it.
