PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland Fire and Rescue responded to a call of a man down an elevator shaft Monday evening.
It happened at a luggage company on Southeast Madison in Portland just after 7 p.m.
A 20-year-old man fell about 20 feet down an elevator shaft.
Fire crews had to perform a low angle rope rescue to get him out.
He was taken to an area hospital with "traumatic injuries."
No word on what caused the fall.
