Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division investigators are asking for the public's help in finding those responsible for the unlawful killing and waste of two forked horn buck deer.
Investigators said a citizen notified OSP after finding the carcasses discarded at the St. Vincent DePaul store near Ninth Street and Garrison Street in The Dalles.
A trooper seized the carcasses for evidence. OSP said a portion of the meat had been taken from both animals and the remainder was left to waste.
A reward of up to $500 is being offered by the Oregon Hunters Association Turn-In-Poachers (TIP) reward program for information leading to the arrest and conviction in this case.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Trooper Justin Frazier at 541-980-1225 or email justin.frazier@state.or.us.
