PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A murder suspect faced charges in Portland on Wednesday after being extradited from Texas.
Deputies booked Richard Redford, 28, into jail on Tuesday. Redford is accused of the 2011 deadly shooting of Deandre Newman.
Investigators said Newman was found with multiple gunshot wounds last October in Northeast.
A Multnomah County grand jury indicted Redford on two counts each of murder, robbery and burglary.
Austin, TX, police arrested Redford on Sept. 12, 2012.
He was subsequently extradited back to Portland and lodged in the Multnomah County jail.
