Beaverton Police arrested a 46-year-old man Tuesday evening in connection with a pharmacy robbery.

According to officers, a man walked into the Rite Aid Pharmacy on SW Barnes Road at 8 p.m. and presented a demand note for prescription pills to the employees before leaving.

Eight minutes later, police located the suspect, later identified as John Emmingham, near SW Corby Drive.

Officers took him into custody without incident, but said he refused to tell them his name.

Emmingham was taken to the Washington County Jail and lodged on the charge of robbery II.

Detectives believe he may be a suspect in other pharmacy robberies and are investigating those cases.
