PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man accused in a string of burglaries was due in court Thursday.

Someone broke into the Sky Box Pub on SE Milwaukie Avenue early Sunday morning.

While police were investigating that break-in, a burglary alarm went off at Mike's Drive-In on SE Tenino Street.

Arriving officers said they found a broken glass door, and cash was missing from the register.

They were able to get a car description from burglary detectives and stop a car leaving the area.

The driver matched descriptions of a burglar from earlier incidents, according to police.

They arrested the driver, Ivan Creswell, 49.

Investigators said they were able to link him to a third incident, a burglary that happened at Natural Mart on SE Gladstone Street on Sept. 22.

On Wednesday, Police also arrested Creswell's girlfriend, Erin Saloum, 37, in connection with the Natural Mart theft.

Creswell is facing four counts of burglary in the second degree and one count attempted burglary in the second degree.

Saloum also faces a second-degree burglary charge.

Detectives are trying to figure out if the pair are responsible for any other burglaries in the Portland metro area.
