15-year-old girl hit by car in a Hillsboro crosswalk

HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -

A 15-year-old girl in a crosswalk was hit by a car in Hillsboro.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. Thursday at Southwest Cornelius Pass Road and Johnson Street. Hillsboro police said a car turning from Jonson Street hit her.

The girl complained of hip pain and bruising to her wrist and elbow. Officers said she may be transported to the hospital as a precaution.

Investigators said the driver remained at the scene and there are no signs of drugs or alcohol being involved in the crash, but citations are still possible in this case.
