KLAMATH COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -
The Klamath County Sheriff's Office said two people are facing charges for allegedly helping an inmate escape from a corrections deputy.
Robert Banes got away from the Klamath County Jail on the morning of Oct. 4.
Investigators arrested Banes' mother, Kathleen Delaney, and Syndahl McFarland in connection with the escape.
They said Delaney gathered personal items and clothing and gave them to McFarland to prepare for the escape.
Investigators believe Banes went directly to McFarland's apartment to change out of jail clothing before leaving the area.
During a search of McFarland's home, authorities said they found jail clothing hidden in the basement.
Both women were charged with felony escape II by aiding and abetting as well as hindering prosecution.
