PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation says lane closures will be necessary on Southwest Barbur Boulevard between Southwest Sheridan Street and Southwest Viewpoint Terrace beginning Monday.
The closures are necessary to remove the existing pavement and repave the street between Southwest Hooker Street and Southwest Viewpoint Terrace and will take place each weekday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Oct. 19.
One lane in each direction will remain open at all times during the project and local access to residences and businesses will be provided.
This work is weather-dependent and the schedule may change.
