HAZEL DELL, WA (KPTV) -
A man who hit a pedestrian in Hazel Dell and then took off learned his fate from a judge on Friday.
Stephen Flick was sentenced to 35 days in jail, but ill only spend four days behind bars. He will serve 30 days on work crew and has one day of credit for time already served.
Flick pleaded guilty to hitting Christopher Chavarria back in April, as he was crossing Highway 99. The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Flick turned himself into authorities a couple days after the crash.
