SALEM, OR (KPTV) -
Business owners in Salem loaned deputies a piece of farm equipment so they could chase down a suspected burglar.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office says two nursery owners got to work the morning of Oct. 4 and found Demitry Naumov trying to steal one of their Gator utility vehicles. It happened at Henry and Sons Nursery on 72nd Avenue Northeast.
Deputies say Naumov took off and hid before they were able to jump into another Gator, track him down and take him into custody.
Naumov is now facing several charges including burglary and possession of meth.
