BENTON COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -
A man charged with murder will spend nine years behind bars.
Santiago Flores pleaded guilty to manslaughter Friday and all other charges against him were dismissed. He was sentenced to a little more than nine years behind bars and three years post-prison supervision.
He was arrested as part of a murder investigation in October 2011 after deputies found the body of Giovanni Blancas-Frutero, 22, in a wooded area two weeks earlier.
Four men were arrested in the case and Douglas Hile pleaded guilty to murder in January. He was sentenced to life in prison.
