PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Firefighters responded to an apartment fire in southeast Portland Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported at 8:30 a.m. at 3244 SE 90th Place. Firefighters arrived and ensured that everyone inside had evacuated the apartment.
The fire was primarily contained to a bathroom. Firefighters had to open up the walls with their axes to make sure the fire didn't spread.
An ambulance went to the scene to check on a patient for smoke inhalation.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause.
