PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police arrested a man accused in a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman on a scooter.
The crash happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. at southeast 17th Avenue and Holgate Boulevard.
Officers arrived to find 28-year-old Thanh Nguyen Tran conscious, but barely responsive. She was transported to a Portland hospital with serious injuries.
Police said that five minutes after the initial call, an officer found the suspect's vehicle crashed into a property owned by Darigold at the corner of southeast Woodward Street and McLoughlin Boulevard.
The driver, J. Barclay Zimmerli was arrested on several charges, including DUII, assault and reckless driving.
