Woman sentenced for Craigslist ad robbery

Posted: Updated:

A woman accused of setting up a man to be attacked after he responded to a Craigslist ad is going to prison.

Danielle Azevedo pleaded guilty to robbery and meth possession Wednesday. She was sentenced to nearly four years in prison with 44 days credit for time served.

Deputies arrested her in August after a man said he connected online with Azevedo, who investigators said identified herself as a prostitute named Karizma.

They agreed to meet at the man's Hazel Dell home late one night. Deputies said Jacob Diepenbrock went with Azevedo and attacked the man at his home.

Diepenbrock was arrested, however the case against him was dismissed last month.
