EUGENE, OR (KPTV) -
Police in Eugene want the public's help to figure out who punched the driver of a Lane Transit District bus.
The driver told police that a 19 or 20-year-old woman punched him in the face on Oct. 4.
He called police right after to report the assault, but the woman hasn't been found.
The driver said she hopped on the bus near Barger and Golden Gardens and sat at the back. She then put her feet on the seat in front of her.
The driver told her to take them down, but then the young woman got belligerent. That's when he pulled over and told her to get out of the bus.
Right before she left, she turned and punched him in the face.
The surveillance camera caught the whole thing on camera, and the bus driver had minor injuries.
The girl is about 5'7'' tall and white with a slim build and blonde, shoulder-length hair.
Police are hoping someone will recognize the suspect and call Officer Sean Kelley at (541) 682-5154 x 1144.
