Stabbing victim out of hospital, suspect on the loose

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A stabbing victim has been released from the hospital and police are trying to track down the man who did it.

Police said Eric Ross, 47, was found with multiple stab wounds at Northeast 19th and Alberta around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He was treated and released from a local hospital early Thursday morning.

No arrests have been made in the case. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, 5'8" tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing.

Investigators have not yet revealed what led to the stabbing.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Portland police.
