LONGVIEW, WA (KPTV) -
Surveillance cameras caught a thief in action at a Longview Safeway store.
The man walked into the store on 15th Avenue last month and grabbed two half-gallon jugs of Jack Daniels, police said. Then he ran out the door.
A loss prevention officer chased the man out of the store, investigators said. The officer was able to grab one of the jugs.
The suspect hit the officer in the face with the other jug and then ran off, police said.
