TriMet TransitTracker live data mostly restored following crash-related outage

TriMet has restored most real-time arrival information for MAX trains to its TransitTracker system, following a weeklong partial outage.

Last Thursday, Oct. 4, a single-car crash destroyed communication equipment at the Rose Quarter Transit Center. Since then, TransitTracker has only been showing scheduled arrival times for MAX trains.

TriMet said that replacement equipment has not yet arrived, but technicians have been able to restore real-time information for trains nearly all of the time, at most platforms.
