PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Friday's rainy weather is causing power outages throughout the region.
PGE workers said all the rain weighed down branches and knocked them into power lines. The area being hit the hardest by outages is Yamhill County.
At 6 p.m. Friday, about 3,800 customers were without power there. In Washington County the number was closer to 2,400.
Only about 40 outages were reported in the Portland area.
