Oregonians peppered with bogus robocalls

Posted: Updated:
SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

People across Oregon have reported receiving strange robocalls regarding their voter registration.

According to the Secretary of State's office, the robocalls say the voter registration of the recipient or someone in his or her household may be inactive.

The calls are not from an official source, such as state or county elections officials.

A number of Oregonians have complained to the Attorney General's Office, which is now investigating whether the robocalls were made to people on the Do Not Call list.
