PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police are investigating a fatal shooting in northeast Portland.
Investigators said a young man was found dead on Northeast 92nd Place, just south of Glisan about 8 p.m. Monday.
When officers arrived, they found the man, who they say died at the scene.
Neighbors tell us the police investigation centered around a bar, Top of the Hill Tavern.
Witnesses told FOX 12 a group of about eight people was seen running from the area before officers arrived.
"All of a sudden, people were running the opposite way of the bar," said Tom Murphy, who lives nearby. "Someone said it was a gang conflict here."
Investigators have not released any information about the victim or if he was at that bar Monday night.
Police have not said if the shooting was gang-related.
They have also not yet released any possible suspect information.
