GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -
Police in Gresham are investigating a Wednesday morning break-in at a business.
Officers responded to the Kay Jewelers on the corner of Northwest 12th Street and Northwest Civic Drive just after 3:30 a.m. when the alarms went off.
When officers arrived they did not find any suspects, but they did find evidence that someone had broken into the business. A glass door and window were broken, as well as a display case.
Officers spent the morning collecting evidence and are working with store management to determine what was stolen. At this point, they do not know the value of the merchandise taken. Police are also reviewing surveillance video in the hope of identifying a suspect.
