LACEY, WA (KPTV) -
A teenage mom in Washington has admitted to burying her baby in a yard.
Detectives said the teen told them she gave birth to a stillborn baby back in June.
She and the teenage father panicked, and decided to bury the baby in the front yard of his home.
Investigators said the 16-year-old girl told a school nurse about the birth Tuesday.
The nurse then contacted police, who later discovered the baby's remains.
The teen is expected to face charges.
The mother was between 26 to 30 weeks pregnant when she delivered the baby.
