Salem officers arrest suspected wedding ring thief

SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

Salem police say a man walked out of Fred Meyer Jewelers with a $12,000 wedding ring set.

Yesterday a tipster led officers to Dominic Quarles.

Detectives caught up with Quarles on an unrelated matter then arrested him yesterday evening.

Quarles was booked into Marion County Jail on aggravated theft charges.

Investigators still have not found the wedding rings.
